As the creator of Ace It Dog Training, I aim to train HUMANS on how to think like their dog. Setting your dog up for safety and success mostly relies on being able to read body language, subtle cues and, ultimately, understand what your dog is trying to tell you. With 8+ years of experience, and a current shelter volunteer, I have witnessed way too many dogs get returned to shelters for minor behavior issues that could have easily been fixed, had the owner known what to do. My goal is not only to train dogs, but to raise awareness on what is normal and fixable (nearly everything), and what is out of the ordinary in terms of behavior. I am an active member of the rescue community and have adopted two rescues (a Border Collie named Buddy, and my Beagle mix named……you guessed it…Ace!)I will work with you to design a training plan that meets your dogs unique needs; and if I encounter a challenge I am not equipped to fix, I will make a referral.
